This hand-crafted wedding cup was lovingly created with your handfasting in mind. Each cup is bespoke and no two are ever the same. It was thrown on the potter’s wheel with a little of the earth from the Isle of Avalon Glastonbury Somerset blended into the white clay. This is visible on the bottom of the cup. During the shaping process, water from the red and white springs in Glastonbury is used, considered as sacred waters by the many Pilgrims that have travelled to Glastonbury Tor and the Isle for hundreds of years.
Two stylised images of the feminine / masculine principles are embossed during the glazing process.
